LADY TACTICAL SHOOTERS MATCH

For all of those that missed the match today, it was a perfect day for shooting and since it was Halloween themed, a lot of fun.  We only had 6 shooters, but we all had a great time.  We shot aliens, ghouls, and tremor worms from the ground, behind a wagon, and sitting on top of the car.  We hope to see more of you at our next match on November 22nd.  The weather should be great and a good time before the holidays to just relax and have a day of fun.  Hope to see you there.

IDPA

We ran 9 shooters through the classifier today and finished up about 4:30.  A long day, but now we have 9 more IDPA classified shooters.   We also ran 4 quickie Halloween stages for 15 shooters.  These were the same stages that the Ladies ran yesterday, just a little more difficult.  It was a beautiful day for shooting.  Thanks to the new RO's who ran the match on both squads:  John Johnson, Mike Marler, Sherry Bonds, Dennis Keplinger, and Norman Stellner.  I would also like to welcome our crossover USPSA shooter, Tom Iten, who shot in the Open Class.  We hope that he found it interesting enough to come back and try it again. Thanks to everyone who helped finish the set-up this morning and tear-down this afternoon.

Novembers Specialty Match will be a Man on Man

MAN ON MAN

Who shoots against whom will be decided by drawing numbered discs and being placed in numerical order in the division that you are shooting in.

If you want to have a chance of going against a shooter of your skill level then you need to be there when the drawing starts. Trading discs will be allowed up until the time that I call for Number One to be listed on the scoreboard in that division.

After that you will go in the designated slot that your drawn number puts you in.

If a listed shooter does not have an opponent due to the number not being drawn, the listed shooter will get a bye for the time it takes the numbered pairs to shoot their course. If an adjacent number is not drawn by then the shooter advances, if a number is drawn or an already eliminated shooter wants to buy back into the bracket before the end of the paired shoots, then that pair will shoot for advancement.

If we have more than 8 shooters but less than 16, the brackets come out odd so as the pairs advance we will shoot top to bottom then bottom to top so one shooter does not wait all day to shoot.

Winner of each paired shooting will be determined by who shoots all the fallings plates and then the stop popper, first popper on bottom wins. Best 2 of 3 runs.

$10.00 for the initial division, $5.00 for each subsequent division, $5.00 for buy-in, $1.00 for each shooter in any grudge matches (after all divisions have shot).

There will be 5 divisions: 9mm and above handgun caliber, no magnum

PISTOL – requires 6 plates and a stop popper, 7 round start, max reload.

OPEN – Any sight, no lasers, no compensators

STOCK – Notch & post sight (hi-viz ok)

REVOLVER – requires 5 plates and a stop popper, 6 round start, max reload.

OPEN – Any sight, no lasers, no compensators

STOCK – Notch & post sight (hi-viz ok)

SINGLE ACTION – requires 5 plates and a stop popper, reload as necessary.

Must be true single action only firearm reloaded through a gate or loaded

new cylinder.

Registration opens at 12:00 pm          Pistol at 1:00 pm
