Additionally there will be a NRA sculpture of Theodore Roosevelt, donated by Tri-State Gun club, given away at the end of the Specialty Match by a raffle.  Every shooter will get one chance for every match they participate in, and at the end of the Specialty Match season, a winner will be drawn by raffle, so the more matches that you participate in, the more chances that you will have.

We had a great turn-out for the match today with four first time match shooters. Today’s course of fire was challenging. We used our new machine (courtesy of the NRA Grant) to remotely launch birds towards the shooter and our trailer mounted unit to launch away from the shooter.

LADY TACTICAL SHOOTERS MATCH

Well it started out freezing on Saturday morning, but with the help of a good fire and seven brave souls, we had a great match.  The weather warmed up and we set up four stages and everyone had a great time.  Congratulations to Ramona Cobb for winning Marksman and also to Teresa Fitzmayer and Amber Taylor for being right on her heels. Thanks to all who helped set up and thanks to Ray Hatsko for helping RO the match.  Hope to see all of the new shooters and the rest of our original gang out for the December 27th match.

IDPA

This month's match was run by Mike Marler, Norman Stellner, and Dennis Keplinger, three of our new ROs.  Mike picked five good stages and Norman and Dennis joined him for set-up and RO duties during the match.  Congratulations are due to all three for a job well done.  The match ran smoothly and everybody thoroughly enjoyed the stages.  Congratulations to David Turner for the win for Stock Service Expert. Cole Taylor in Sharpshooter, Regan Baker in Marksman, Ben Fisher in Unclassified, and Daniel Koren in CDP Sharpshooter.

Congratulations to Amber Cole and Audrey Dorrill who competed for the first time yesterday in the Ladies Tactical Match and decided to come out today and try the regular IDPA Match.  Look for both of them to be forces to reckon with in the upcoming months.

The Ladies Tactical Shooters Match will be held on December 27th and the December IDPA match will be a multi-gun match held on December 28th.  Look for a posting on the multi-gun rules.

USPSC:  Overall Top Shooters:  The match went great. We only had 8 shooters so we only set up 4 stages, but I thought they where pretty well, if I do say so myself.

It took me a few days to figure out the scoring software but I finally got it. I've emailed them to Tom for him to post.

I have to thank Norman, Bob, Paul Tucker, Don, Vickie, Ray, Butch and Sheryl.  Man, I couldn't even begin to get the match going with out the help.

SPECIALTY MATCH

The first specialty match was a Man-On-Man.  Kevin Kelly was the Match Director with Aaron Finch, as his assistant RO. The weather was bit cool, but we had 10 shooters who braved the elements.  Due to the elimination format of Man-On-Man, a first to tenth place was impossible to calculate.  Points given below were the best solution I could come up with; combining multiple entries and wins from 4 divisions.  In Stock Pistol, David Turner was the winner, followed closely by Greg Schroll.  In Open Pistol, David Turner won over Gerald Bonds.  In Stock Revolver, Ray Dillon was the winner, followed closely by Reagen Baker.  In Single-Action Revolver, Norman Stellner won over Ray Dillon.  We made $183.00 for the Range Fund, which is a good start for the year.
