CLUB BUISNESS
Â
1.ÂWe now have a wonderful new road to access the range thanks to the Dale County Engineering Department.ÂThank you Greg, for coordinating with Dale County and convincing them to put in the much needed culvert at the entrance of our driveway.Â( We paid for the culvert, Dale County put it in at no cost to us!ÂWhat would we do without you!Â
          Â
2.ÂWe had a life member pass away this past January, Keith Mowrey.ÂWe send our condolences to his family and friend.
Â
Â
3.ÂThe Range Maintenance Committee
Please contact Ron Wagner at 334-475-4096 if you would like to volunteer to take care of a small portion of our range.Â
Â
4.ÂThe out side bathrooms on the rifle range have been closed permanentlyÂThe water has been disconnected.ÂThe building will eventually be moved another place and used for storage.ÂThe current site eventually will be set up for a dump station for campers and RVs.
Â
Â
5.ÂIF YOU ARE SHOOTING STEEL, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PAINT!ÂAnd spray the steel after you are done shooting!ÂIt is not the clubs responsibility to continually spray the steel for each members use.ÂBe courteous and spray the steel for the next person.Â
Â
Â
6.ÂOur bathroom on the pistol side still needs fixing.ÂThe roof on the Right side is leaking and the toilet on the Left side runs constantly.ÂShould someone feel the need to fix this problem feel free to look at it, get an estimate of materials and let a board member know the materials you need to fix the bathrooms.ÂThis problem needs to be address before we have much more water damage to the right side.
Â
Â
7.ÂGrass cutting season is upon us.ÂWe need everyone available to help keep the grass cut on the range.ÂWe have a tractor with a finish mower, a riding lawn mower and a push mower.ÂThey are available at any given time on any day.ÂLet Greg Swim or one of the Board of Directors know you want to mow and someone will show you how to run the equipment.ÂYou can do as much as you want, at your own pace. Â
Â
Â

March 28, 2010
Well, today was the best day for shooting, warm with a breeze. We had 21 shooters who came out to shoot 6 stages. Big thanks to Henry, Tom, and Mike for coming early to help us set up, and to the whole crew for helping us tear down and put things where they belong. Thanks, as always, to John Johnson and Grady Wiggins for doing RO duty on the second squad and to Norman and David for helping on our squad. Hope to see you all next month, for the Three-Gun Match.
