Training Facility/Class Room Discussion  
ALL,
Here are the building specifications as present at the June club meeting.  The floor plan is a word document with an embedded VISIO drawing.  If you would like the floor plan drawing email me at ricful@gmail.com and I will be glad to send you a copy.

Tri State Gun Club Training Facility Specifications

40’ x 72’ x 12’ building 

Steel angle iron Alabama Certified Trusses on 12’ centers

4” on 12” pitch roof

All wood will be at least 80% treated

Treated Wood 6” X 6“ post frame on 12’ centers, (if post are in ground they will be set at least 30” deep)

Roof will have treated 2” X 6” lathe/purling on 2 ft centers

Walls will have treated 2” X 6” Girt on 32” centers

29 gauge galvalume metal on roof & ridge cap

29 gauge painted metal on building sides and ends and building trim

All metal will be attached with color matching screw

Metal Color:  Sand white with Sierra Tan trim or equivalent

Roof and walls insulated (Prodex R15.67 minimum)

Three roll up 10 x 10 doors with chain lifts

* No Windows

Entrance on the north side overlooking the rifle range 6’0” double door (exterior swing)

One 3’0” door entrance (exterior swing)

Stubbed Plumbed for two bathrooms and one kitchen

          * Kitchen: one sink

          * Men’s & Women’s:  two toilets, one shower, one sink

Ground will be prepped for concrete slab and with gradient slopes

 

40’ x 72’ Concrete slab 4” thick with a 12” x 12” perimeter footer

3000 lb mix concrete with reinforcement wire and two 3/8” rebar reinforcement in perimeter footer

Slab will have a vapor barrier of 6 mil or thicker plastic

Slab will be divided into 6 equal sections 20’ x 24’ with metal key expansion joints 

Concrete is to be finished to a smooth as possible finish
