The .22 Benchrest Match is designed for shooter's with Grandpa's ol' Remington Model 12C or the latest and greatest laser beam accurate creation from the Skunk Works. The match is a fundraiser and fun to shoot. RBA rules were consulted and may be loosely incorporated into the Match; any conflicts will be settled using RR 95-1, (that's Ron's Rules 95-1)

There will be an Optics class and an Iron Sight class. You can shoot both if you want.

You'll have 25 record shots to complete in 15 minutes. I'm going to allow 10 minutes and as many shots as you want on the zero target before shooting for record. Wind flags can be utilized. Shooters must place wind flags in position before the match begins. Wind flags cannot be moved or taken down until the match is over. If a flag is in a shooter's line of sight, the Match Director or referee will lay the flag on the ground. Front rests must be topped with some form of sandbag. Rear rests must be a sandbag. Sandbags can be made of leather or cloth. The front and rear rests will NOT be connected to each other, the bench or the gun. You can bring your own bench if you want. Bring any ammo you want, except FMJ and laser-guided, x-ring seeking munitions. The scope used does not have a power limit, but you may be accused of compensating.

Protests:  Any shooter may protest his target's score, someone else’s target score, questionable guns, rests or other problems that may arise. The Match Director will decide all protest and that decision is final.  Quibbling is a -24 and will require a memorandum for record. Flash back!!

Use good sportsmanship when not on the line and take conversations away from shooters and try not to create distractions (ribbing is always allowed though).

Let's have a good time, that's the point of it all. Registration starts at 1200hrs, match starts promptly at 1300hrs or when I have a complete firing line. See you on the 15th.
