The Man on Man competition is essentially a single elimination tournament.
There will 5 divisions;
Stock Pistol – notch and post type sights only (includes ghost ring)
Open Pistol - any scope or sight excluding laser
Stock Revolver – notch and post type sights only (includes ghost ring)
Open Revolver - any scope or sight excluding laser
S A Revolver – any cowboy or single action only revolver (black powder if you want) (I assume nobody is going to put a red dot on these)
Pistols will load 8 rounds to start for six (6) plates and the stop popper which will allow one miss, reload as necessary with max capacity if desired.
Revolvers will load to 6 rounds to start for four (4) plates and the stop popper which will allow one miss, reload as necessary with max capacity if desired.
All plates must be down before the stop popper is hit. The popper on the bottom is the winner.
The firing line will be at the 10 yard line.
Each run will consist of best of three between each two competitors and the winner will
shoot against the winners of other pairs until there is a single winner.
You can enter each division only once since it is single elimination but you can enter all five divisions if you want.
I plan to start Pistol at 1pm, Revolver at 2pm and SA at 3pm. You need to be there at the start times or before to draw for positioning. In other words #1 shoots against #2: #3 shoots against #4 and so on. We’ll shoot the first line of Stock then the first line of Open in each division at their respective times and then back to the second lines in case someone is shooting two divisions
Start position will be at the low ready but you have the option of drawing from the holster. I would prefer that everyone have a holster to move to and from the firing line for safety reasons.
Cost will be $10.00 for initial division and $5.00 for each additional.
