Re: June Results Falling Plates
I am really confused with the scoring this month.  Maybe I should visit other clubs to see how they score.  I was under the understanding that the scores were per run.  This reports appears that the 38 score was done on a first run; not the fourth run.   I think I will learn more about the sport before I compete again.

Re: June Results Falling Plates

Sorry if I was unclear on the rules/scoring of the falling plate competition.  I have recently voluntered to help Norm run this match, and am still smoothing out some kinks.  I'll try to clear it up a little.

There are 6 categories, separated by type of gun, and you only compete against others in your category.  Each category will have an overall winner.  You were overall winner in the rimfire category btw (with an outstanding score, I might add).
You can enter as many times as you like, time permitting.  I will only post your best score.  Only your highest score matters, no matter in which "run" you achieve it.  You may get in as many categories as you wish, provided you use the appropriate gun for that category.  I will post your highest score in each category.

In the future, I will do a better job of highlighting the category winners.  I am also entertaining the idea of having an "All time best score" section in each category.  That way the best score will remain visible each month until someone beats it.

Hope this helps unmuddy the waters.  No need to look anywhere else, this exciting, skill-testing falling plate match is a Tri-state exclusive!!

Hope to see you next month, and don't forget about the most anticipated match of the year......The man-on-man falling plate match!  Coming soon!
