Re: Oct '08 Results

Just a note, I would like to thank the Schroll family for coming out today.  They added great company to a great day and I thoroughly enjoyed myself with the comeradery they provided.

Re: Oct '08 Results

Bob, the Schroll family appreciated your time and patience. We are looking forward to the Nov 2 match. Question: Time requirements the same when using single action revolver? Tks Greg

Re: Oct '08 Results

I lost the ability to log in with previous ID so changed to "Frankendawg", my faithful hound.

To answer your question Greg, we add 3 seconds to normal double action revolver/pistol times for  single action fire.  Therefore, you have 9 seconds per string of fire at the 10 yard line, 10 seconds at the 15 yard line, 11 seconds at the 20 yard line and 12 seconds at the 25 yard line.  Times are based on the addition time required to cock the hammer (times are averages of our three finest shooters, names to remain unpublished in order to protect the guilty).

Hope to see you on the 2nd.

Bob
